So when you look at Monsters neck it doesn't really fit his head, nor his body, but when you look at monsters neck color,it may look like the henchmen skin color!, so what if..Monster was once a back dancers/henchmen, but got hit by the lamp post?- or the light thing, then he was revived, So that's when he realized he was never in control of himself, So he WANTED to get Control of Himself, So he disguised himself to that lemon head thing, and the black suit, though the black suit couldn't hide the neck.
